| WE CALL OURSELVES... |
| |
Christian |
| |
|
We seek to be followers of Jesus Christ and believe that the Old and New Testaments of the Bible (www.biblegateway.com) reveal God’s will for our lives and Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world. All those who believe in Jesus Christ are called upon to share the good news of salvation from sin that Christ came to bring. We believe that God by the power of the Holy Spirit inspired particular people at a particular time in history and in a particular culture to reveal his will and his salvation. We receive it as the final authority in all matters to which it speaks. |

Reformed |
| |
|
This part of our denominational name identifies us with the Protestant Reformation of 1517. The teachings of 16th century reformer, John Calvin, have given significant shape to what we believe and teach.
To be “reformed” is to be continually “reforming” or reshaping ourselves as we seek to live in conformity with the teachings of the Bible. |

| CHURCH |
| |
“church,” Biblically understood, means something like “called out ones” God has called us into the fellowship of his people. Together, we are called to share the good news of Christ and his salvation. |
